Established in 1752, The Coach & Horses Inn is a cherished part of Penzance’s heritage. Our historic coaching inn has welcomed travellers and locals alike for over 270 years. Our charming building, nestled in Kenneggy Downs, offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for exploring all that Penzance and the surrounding area has to offer.

Located between Helston and Penzance on the A394, The Coach and Horses Inn is ideally situated for exploring some of Cornwall’s most beautiful locations. A short 10-minute walk will take you to the stunning beaches at Praa Sands, while a few minutes drive brings you to the historic town of Marazion, home to the ‘must visit’ St Michael’s Mount. Other nearby attractions include St. Ives, Hayle, Porthleven, and Gulval Churchtown, all within a 10-mile radius.
If you’re looking for B&B accommodation we are ideally placed for those of you catching the Scillonian to visit the Scilly Islesor attending a wedding at either Prussia Cove or Pengersick Castle.
We have a function room which can be booked at no cost for birthdays, christenings etc we are able to cater for every taste.
The public transport links are excellent here with buses to Penzance or Helston right outside the pub.
